AIMS AND GOALS
The International School on Coding Theory and Applications will consist of a series of courses given by experts in Coding Theory and their Applications. The courses are intended for PhD students (and post-docs) in mathematics and theoretical computer science. The required background knowledge is the standard undergraduate curriculum in basic algebra, number theory, probability theory and/or theoretical computer science.
There will be short contributed talks (15 minutes) by the participants in the school.
The school is organized by RedMatSI together with Universitat Rovira i Virgili. It is registration free althought a registration form needs to be completed by as soon as possible in order to participate. Participants will be in charge of their accomodation and meals.
The previous week it will take place in Barcelona the First European Training School in Network Coding.
