Short bio

I am from Valls (Catalonia) and I was born in 1976. I live in La Selva del Camp.

I obtained a Technical Engineering Degree in Computer Systems (Universitat Rovira i Virgili, 1999), an Engineering Degree in Computing (Universitat Rovira i Virgili, 2002) and a PhD in Telematics Engineering (Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, 2004).

I am a tenured assistant professor at the Department of Computer Engineering and Mathematics (DEIM) in Universitat Rovira i Virgili (URV). I am teaching courses related to Computers and Computer Networks at the Escola Tècnica Superior d'Enginyeria (ETSE).

I am also teaching at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC).

My research interests are security and privacy in ICT and specially the privacy of their users. Since 2001, I am with CRISES research group where I have taken part in several research projects. I have also been involved in studies about assessment of the security in ICT of Catalan citizens and enterprises.
