Due to reasons of cost and convenience, vehicles will be mobile robots instead of cars, which will allow a manageable testing area and a longer experimentation period. On this platform, several ARES technologies will be demonstrated (VANET protocols, electronic tickets for e-payment, sensor networks, anonymization of mobility data, etc.). Preparing this prototype is requiring a tight cooperation between the six ARES groups.
